WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO START TO TRAIN?
I was motivated to start personal training with Michael during the very first lockdown, I had been doing online Zoom classes since the spring but by the summer I was finding I wanted to push myself further, lift heavier and learn better techniques. Knowing Michael from classes, I really liked his teaching style and wanted that in a 1-1 setting.
WHAT HAVE YOU ENJOYED ABOUT TRAINING WITH METRIC?
I love the community feeling you get with Metric. The Whatapp group is so much fun and it’s motivating to speak with people about goals, recipes and steps. Despite training 1-1, you make friends with such a wide variety of fellow trainees.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT?
I’ve learnt so much with Metric. My lifting technique is so much better, I can lift heavier than I ever thought I could manage two years ago. But the best thing I’ve learnt from Michael is confidence before personal training I was too scared to enter a regular gym, I didn’t know what to do and now when I’m away on holiday I can just walk into a local gym and just crack on with lifting routines we’ve developed during 1-1 sessions.
